PlaidInvoices emails the original Tesla PDFs to your Odoo vendor bills alias. Odoo turns each PDF into its own draft bill, so nobody downloads and uploads invoices by hand.
Connect Tesla and startIn Odoo Accounting, open the purchase journal that receives your vendor bills and look for its email alias. Odoo creates a bill from each email sent to that alias. Copy the full address.
Sign in with Tesla once. You can connect up to three Tesla accounts, for example a personal and a Tesla Business account.
In Settings, add the alias under additional invoice recipients and choose the recipient type "Accounting software". Press Send test: a small test PDF goes to the alias, so you can see a draft bill appear in Odoo.
Under delivery settings, turn on the monthly email, delivery right after each charge, or both. Copies for accounting inboxes come from invoices@plaidinvoices.com, contain only the PDFs and carry at most 10 PDFs per email.
Per Odoo, each PDF attached to an email sent to the alias is converted into its own draft vendor bill, which you review before confirming. Reading the document (vendor, dates, amounts) uses Odoo's document digitization, an in-app service that uses prepaid credits, one credit per digitized document. Check your Odoo plan and credits before sending a large backlog.
If you connect several Tesla accounts, limit the Odoo recipient to the accounts you want, for example only the company car. Invoices from the other accounts then never reach the company books.
Need last quarter in Odoo? With Pro, send any past month from the dashboard to the same recipients. Each PDF still becomes one draft bill.
Use Send test again and check the alias is copied completely. If the draft bill still does not appear, ask your Odoo administrator whether mail from invoices@plaidinvoices.com is blocked. Odoo only processes PDF and XML attachments on a journal alias, which is fine because Tesla invoices are PDFs.
No. PlaidInvoices sends ordinary emails with the original Tesla PDFs to your Odoo vendor bills alias and Odoo handles them like any emailed bill. There is no API connection.

Odoo documents that digitizing a document uses one prepaid in-app credit. Whether and how many credits you have depends on your Odoo plan, so check it in Odoo.
Yes. Every copy includes a link to stop receiving copies for your account, without signing in. You can also remove the recipient in Settings at any time.
