Need one Supercharger invoice? The Tesla app gives it to you in under a minute. The steps are below.
Need all of them, every month, for your accountant, your employer or your tax return? Then the app is the slow part. Every session is a separate invoice, and every month you go back to collect them again. The second half of this guide shows how to get them delivered automatically instead.
How to download a Tesla Supercharger invoice in the app
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Charging, then Charging History.
- Tap the download icon in the top-right corner.
- Choose the invoice date, vehicle and file type, then save the file.
In some countries, including Germany, the route is Profile > Account > Charging > History instead. The download step is the same once you reach your charging history. Tesla’s Supercharging support page has the official steps under Payments and Fees.
Before you file the invoice, rename it with the date and vehicle (Tesla’s filenames are not descriptive). Then store it with the right month’s records.
The real problem: doing this every month
One download is easy. The routine around it is not:
- Every session is its own invoice. Ten Supercharger stops in a month means ten documents to collect, rename and pass on.
- Invoices arrive after you charge. Tesla issues the invoice once the session is finalized, so you cannot grab everything on the day you drive.
- Someone else needs them. Your accountant, your employer’s expense system or your bookkeeping inbox wants every receipt, every month, without gaps.
- Gaps surface late. A missing invoice usually turns up at quarter-end or tax time, when the session is months old and harder to track down.
- More than one car or account makes it worse. Each vehicle and each Tesla account is another round of the same taps.
If you charge at Superchargers for business, for a company car or for a reimbursement claim, this turns into a recurring admin job. It is easy to automate.

Troubleshooting
My app shows a different menu
Try both routes: Menu > Charging > Charging History and Profile > Account > Charging > History. Labels can differ by country and app version. Make sure you are in the charging history, not Charge Stats or the vehicle’s charging controls.
I cannot see the download icon
Check that the right Tesla account and vehicle are selected, then update and reopen the app. If the icon is still missing, contact Tesla Support.
The session is visible, but the invoice is not
Check who processed the payment:
- If you paid through a mobility service provider (MSP), the invoice is in the MSP’s app, even though the session appears in Tesla. See Tesla’s MSP payment support.
- If you charged a non-Tesla EV with touchless payment, use Tesla’s web receipt lookup.
Otherwise, contact Tesla Support with the date, location and vehicle.
Can I download all my invoices at once?
