How to Download Tesla Supercharger Invoices in the App (2026)
Use Charging History and the download icon in the Tesla app, then choose date, vehicle and file type. Current regional paths, verified July 2026.

Download a Tesla Supercharger invoice: the current official steps
Last verified: July 2026.
Tesla’s current global instructions use the Tesla app:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Charging.
- Tap Charging History.
- Tap the download icon in the top-right corner.
- Provide the invoice date, vehicle and file type you want to receive.
These steps come from Tesla’s official global Supercharging support page, under Payments and Fees > How do I view and download Supercharging invoices?
Tesla does not name the available file types on that support page. It also does not say whether the date selector returns one invoice or multiple invoices in every region. Use the options displayed in your current app rather than assuming a universal PDF-only or one-at-a-time workflow.
Screen-by-screen check
The two cited Tesla support pages do not include invoice-flow screenshots. Instead of matching the position of every pixel, check that each screen contains the documented label or control:
| Screen | What Tesla’s global instructions say you should see |
|---|---|
| Top-level app menu | Charging |
| Charging area | Charging History |
| Charging History | A download icon in the top-right corner |
| Download controls | Invoice date, vehicle and file type |
If your screen does not match this sequence, try the regional route below before assuming the invoice is unavailable.
Screenshot maintenance note: any app captures added to this guide should be labelled with the country, iOS or Android, and Tesla app version. A screenshot from another region or an older build should not be presented as universal.
Regional navigation can differ
Tesla’s localized support pages do not all document the same route.
As of July 2026, Tesla Germany’s official Supercharging support page says to view final invoices using:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Account (Konto).
- Tap Charging (Aufladen).
- Tap History (Historie).
| Tesla documentation | Documented path |
|---|---|
| Global support | Menu > Charging > Charging History |
| German support | Profile > Account > Charging > History |
The German page documents where to view final invoices but does not repeat the global page’s download-icon or file-type instructions. Tesla does not explain why the pages differ. Treat this as a documentation difference, not proof that every German account has one interface and every other account has another.
Save the file your app provides
After you choose the invoice date, vehicle and available file type:
- Save the downloaded file without editing the original.
- Add the charging date or vehicle to the filename if your device gives it a generic name.
- Open the file once to confirm it is readable.
- Store it with the records for the matching month, trip or reimbursement claim.
Do not rename a receipt as an “invoice” or assume a particular file format for every market. Use the document name and file types Tesla shows in your account.
Troubleshooting Tesla Charging History and invoice downloads
The navigation in my app is different
Try both documented paths:
- Menu > Charging > Charging History
- Profile > Account > Charging > History
Then compare the wording on Tesla’s support page for your country. Localized pages can document a different route.
I cannot see the download icon
First confirm that you are in Charging History, not Charge Stats, vehicle charging controls or payment settings. The following are practical checks, not additional Tesla-documented invoice steps:
- check the selected Tesla account and vehicle
- update and reopen the Tesla app
- compare your country’s Tesla support instructions
- contact Tesla Support if the control is still missing
Tesla does not publish a minimum app version for invoice downloading on the cited pages. The version 4.39.0 note elsewhere on the global Supercharging page applies to Report an Issue, not to invoice downloads.
The charging session is visible, but the invoice is not
Confirm the date and vehicle used in the download controls. Also check who processed the payment:
- Tesla Germany says an MSP-paid Supercharger session can appear in Tesla while the invoice remains in the MSP app. See Tesla’s MSP payment support.
- For an other-EV session paid through touchless payment, Tesla provides a separate web receipt lookup.
If neither exception applies, contact Tesla Support with the charging date, location, vehicle and account details. Avoid sending payment or account information to an unofficial support address.
Can I download every invoice at once?
Tesla’s global page documents a top-level download control with invoice date, vehicle and file-type inputs. It does not define the batch behavior for every region or app version. Check what the selector offers in your account; do not rely on a universal “one invoice only” claim.
Need a recurring invoice workflow?
This guide is for finding and downloading invoices in Tesla’s app. If your real task is recurring retrieval, a month-by-month browser view, monthly ZIP downloads, CSV export or delivery to your account inbox for finance handoff, see the separate Tesla Supercharger invoice download product page.

FAQ
Where are Tesla Supercharger invoices in the app?
Tesla’s global page currently documents Menu > Charging > Charging History. Tesla Germany documents Profile > Account > Charging > History.
What should I tap to download an invoice?
In Charging History, Tesla’s global instructions say to tap the download icon in the top-right corner, then provide the invoice date, vehicle and file type.
Does Tesla provide PDF invoices?
The global support page says you can choose a file type, but it does not list the available types. Report only the options shown in your account and current app version.
Does Tesla limit downloads to one invoice at a time?
Tesla’s public instructions do not say. They describe date, vehicle and file-type controls without defining whether a download contains one invoice or several. This can only be verified against a specific region, account and app version.
Why can’t I find an MSP-paid invoice in Tesla?
Tesla Germany says the session can be visible in Tesla while the invoice is provided in the MSP app. Check the payment provider that processed the session.
